My name is Albert Lo and I specialise in creating websites with visual flair that are user-friendly and built according to best-practice web standards. I also create corporate identity, branding and graphic designs for the web.
Over the past five years I've enjoyed working with many high-profile clients including BMW, MINI, Microsoft and T-Mobile. See more clients.
I specialise in designing creative websites that provide a great user experience and using best practices in terms of web standards and accessibility. I make sure whatever I design is engaging, human-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, clear, on-brand and usable.
I like to use OmniGraffle and Visio for wire-framing and information architecture and pens, pencils, PhotoShop and Illustrator for visual design. To bring the designs to life, I use accessible and search engine optimised XHTML and CSS.
I mostly work with PHP and MySQL to build flexible, database driven websites. For CMS sites I prefer Wordpress or Textpattern.
This site was built with a lot of love and care. I designed it from the ground up using pencils, pens, paper and Photoshop CS3. Because I strongly believe in web standards, I chose to hand-code it in XHTML 1.0 Strict, with a layout and presentation done exclusively in CSS.
I live in a leafy suburb of Hertfordshire with my two cats Jay and Coco, and drive my Mini Cooper S Works.
